Day 2

OK, here is my day 2 manicure.  Yes, these are my feet.  I was not as careful with my feet because well, this time of year, my feet really don't get seen.  But they look okay anyway.

 

I am not sure if you can see the pattern, but I made dice.  :D

November 1st

OK, so this manicure incorporates two of Coastal Scents colors.  I am still on the fence on whether or not I like these polishes.  Especially since this mani didn't dry before being ruined, long after it *should* have dried.

The two polishes I used in this mani are Coastal Scents Solar (base) and Coastal Scents Cosmic for the drips.  I was not pleased that they did not last the night.  I was waiting for them to try well enough to put the top coat on, but I waited sooo long, that I fell asleep.  I woke up the next morning and the were all smudged and such.  I would say I waiting a good hour for the drips to dry thoroughly (because the drip portion *can* take a while to dry) but they never did.  The Solar base coat did dry and dried very well.  I did need 3 coats, however, which probably affected the drying later.  

Strike one for Coastal Scents polish.  The colors are nice, but if the dry time doesn't get better, this polish it going to be a no-go for me.  I like having a polish that can do more than just be a base coat.

What it is:

OK, so Breanne Sanford and I decided to do a challenge if you will. It will span through the end of the year...we will use some polishes that we have not yet used.  I am going to try and work this challenge in with the other challenges I will be participating in, in both November and undoubtedly in December as well.

GOAL: Two manis a week, Tuesday and Friday.  Can use a single color OR can use 2 colors (which I will have to do to finish my selections before the end of the year)

MY Choices: Going through my Coastal Scents 25 count set. (the numbers are from my filing system and mean nothing in regards to what the colors are...you will just have to be surprised!!)  :grin:

Yup.  A lot of work here...but I feel pretty confident that I can mesh the November Challenges together with this...I just painted out samples of the combos...OMG...
